Step into an immersive virtual world designed to build real healthcare skills and spark career exploration. Students practice hands-on clinical tasks—assessment, decision-making, teamwork—in lifelike scenarios enhanced with sensory effects like wind, temperature, and scent cues.
Whether learning independently inside the simulation or observing and collaborating from the team zone, learners gain a deeper understanding of healthcare roles and discover the paths that inspire them.
Hospital Simulation Rooms
Practice healthcare skills in immersive simulation rooms designed to look and feel like real clinical environments
The state-of-the-art simulation hospital rooms give students and advanced workforce learners a safe, controlled space to practice life-saving healthcare skills. Inside these realistic hospital environments, learners perform assessments, procedures, and critical decision-making just as they would in real patient care.
From the control room, healthcare professionals and teaching staff oversee every scenario – managing environmental cues, guiding role-play, communication through the intercom, and adjusting the manikin’s clinical responses in real time. This creates an authentic, hands on experience that helps learners explore healthcare careers, build confidence, and prepare for the demands of the medical field.
Clinical Simulation Room

The clinical simulation room gives entry-level healthcare learners a realistic, supportive space to practice caregiving skills and bedside manner. Designed to mirror real patient-care environments, it allows students to build confidence in communication, empathy, and hands-on care before stepping into actual clinical settings.
This immersive experience helps learners understand what it feels like to work directly with patients and explore roles across the healthcare field.
Multi-Use Teaching Space
Designed for hands-on learning and community connections.
This transformative space can be used for lecture, demonstration, or hands-on learning, featuring partial manikins for anatomy practice, suturing, wound care, and more.
Designed for maximum flexibility, the room adapts to the needs of teaching staff and students—supporting small-group instruction, skill-building workshops, and exploratory activities that help learners discover healthcare career pathways, Adjustable layouts, moveable equipment, and multi-use stations ensure the environment can shift seamlessly between instructional styles and skill levels.
Science Lab
Expanding opportunities with a future-ready science learning lab
The HEART Hub will include a fully equipped science laboratory designed to support high school and college students as they build the foundational science skills required for healthcare career pathways
Developed in partnership with Mendocino College, the lab will feature flexible workstations and fume-hood stations for up to 25 students, enabling hands-on learning in chemistry, biology, and other essential sciences. The science lab will increase local capacity for requires prerequisite courses and help students confidently progress toward nursing, allied heath, and other medical professions.
